Description

This document encapsulates discussions regarding the establishment of a university for Africans in British West Africa. Pros and Cons are stated for either a semi-federalist University, federalist type of University or a Unitary University. A semi-federal type will have Colleges in Nigeria, the Gold Coast and Sierra Leone. The Federalist type will have constituent Colleges in Nigeria, Gold Coast and Sierra Leone, each attempting to provide a full variety of courses. A Unitary University, situated in one of the Colonies, supplying the needs of all British best Africa; this might have centres for higher study in Agriculture and Forestry and Veterinary Science associated with it, but located in appropriate areas,
